Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner
How Vivi found aesthetics
Vivi did not set out to work in aesthetics. She spent the early part of her career in the hospital, in oncology and caring for patients after open-heart surgery, and after several years at the bedside she was starting to burn out. A move into travel nursing took her across the country and, almost by accident, into a dermatology practice. That is where it clicked. Helping set up Botox and filler cases and learning laser work, she saw how much these treatments changed the way people felt about themselves, and how patients left happier than any hospital shift had ever left her. She went back to school for her nurse practitioner degree, worked side by side with a board-certified plastic surgeon, and learned to treat a wide range of skin tones, including keloid-prone and melanin-rich skin that many providers are never properly trained to handle. When she was ready to practice the way she believed in, she took the risk, opened her own business, and built Vamped Aesthetics from the ground up.
How Vivi works with her patients
Every new patient starts with a consultation Vivi half-jokingly calls a first date. It goes both ways: she wants to understand what brought you in and what bothers you the most, and she wants to make sure the two of you are the right fit. From there she assesses the whole face rather than one feature, explains why things are happening, and walks you through your options honestly, including when to wait or when a treatment is not right for you. She specializes in full facial balancing, and she builds each plan in phases, starting conservatively and checking in every four to six weeks so nothing ever looks distorted. Underneath all of it is one belief: skin health comes first, and injectables are a boost, not a substitute for a healthy foundation, which is why she starts nearly everyone on a medical-grade skincare plan. Her goal is simple. You should look like a rested, refreshed version of yourself, never like you had work done.
